It is widely accepted that the first human habitation of the Japanese islands can be found back in prehistoric times. During Jomon, its "cord-marked" potter is named after, when the first continent was followed by Yayoi of the twentieth century, when new technologies were introduced in continental Asia. In the following century, the power of emperor and imperial court gradually declined and the army and samurai fighters entered their forces. On 14 August 1945 Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bomb attacks and after Soviet invasion of Manchurian, Japan's unconditional surrender was announced by emperor Hirohito. Until 1952, the Allies occupied Japan, during which a new constitution was enacted in 1947, which made Japan as a constitutional monarchy. After 1955, Japan suffered very high economic growth, and became a global economic powerhouse. Since 1990, economic stability has been a major problem. In 2011, earthquakes and tsunamis caused massive damage and a serious nuclear power crisis.
